sDoes SkyFarm have all the specific certifications, permissions, and licenses required to legally operate spray drones for agricultural purposes, including any FAA regulations that apply based on the drone’s weight. We have them all and are fully insured.
How effective is drone spraying compared to traditional methods?
Questions sometimes come up about the efficiency, coverage, and efficacy of using drones for pesticide and fertilizer applications versus conventional ground-based or manned aerial methods. Our drones use state of the art mapping technology to achieve centimeter accuracy and reporting. We can control droplet size and gallons per acre easily while achieving nearly 100% coverage of the crop.
